جوجل تطلق تطبيق VR Services لخدمات الواقع الافتراضي

أطلقت جوجل على متجرها اليوم تطبيقًا جديدًا باسم Google VR Services مهمته تهيئة الخدمات المناسبة لمستخدمي تطبيقات الواقع الافتراضي سواء عبر منصةGoogle Cardboard القديمة، أو عبر منصةDaydream VR الجديدة.
التطبيق يأتي قبل أيام من موعد طرح نظارة الواقع الافتراضي الجديدة من جوجل Daydream View، وهو يقوم بعمل مشابه من حيث المبدأ لعمل تطبيق خدمات جوجل بلاي Google Play Services لتقديم البنية التحتية اللازمة لتشغيل خدمات جوجل على أندرويد، مع فارق أن Google VR Services يقدم ما يلزم من الخدمات لتشغيل تطبيقات وألعاب الواقع الافتراضي.
يتضمن التطبيق خصائص تتيح إظهار التنبيهات أثناء تشغيل وضعية الواقع الافتراضي، وإمكانية ربط النظارات الداعمة لتقنية Daydream وأجهزة التحكم بالهواتف، إضافةً إلى عدد من الخدمات الأخرى.

وقد نوهت جوجل بأن حذف التطبيق سيؤدي إلى توقف خدمات Google VR عن العمل وهو ما سيؤدي إلى توقف تطبيقات Daydream عن العمل كذلك.
يُذكر أن نظارة Daydream View ستبدأ التوفر رسميًا في عدد من الأسواق العالمية بتاريخ 10 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر بسعر 79 دولار أمريكي.
